1. Your account
- Provide accurate account information and keep access to your sign-in method secure.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
- Do not impersonate another person, misuse another account or attempt to bypass app security.
2. User content
- You keep ownership of the posts, catches, photos, videos, comments and discussions you create.
- You allow CastShare to store, process and display submitted content as needed to provide the selected feature and audience.
- You must have the right to upload your content and must not post illegal, abusive, misleading, stolen or privacy-violating material.
3. Fishing and safety
- Follow applicable fishing, boating, access, permit, conservation and safety rules.
- Fishing regulations and water information in CastShare are informational and may not cover every location or recent legal change.
- CastShare is not a navigation, rescue, emergency or legal compliance service.
4. Sessions and location
- Use Cast Share controls to select who can see an active session and how precisely its location is shown.
- Do not reveal another person's private fishing location, route or personal information without permission.
- Location availability can be affected by device permissions, signal quality, battery settings and connectivity.
5. Tournaments
- Participants must submit honest measurements, timestamps, photos and location evidence.
- Organizers define event rules and are responsible for participant, moderator and catch-review decisions.
- CastShare can flag, reject or exclude suspicious submissions and may preserve tournament records needed for fairness.
6. Sponsored content and payments
- Commercial profiles must provide accurate business and campaign information.
- Sponsored content may require review and payment before publication.
- CastShare may reject or stop content that is unsafe, unlawful, deceptive or inconsistent with community standards.
7. Moderation and service changes
- CastShare may remove content, limit accounts or suspend features to address abuse, security or legal concerns.
- Features can change as the service evolves. Material changes to these terms will be reflected on this page.
8. CastShare intellectual property
- CastShare software, original interface, branding, documentation and original assets are protected by intellectual-property laws.
- You may not copy, modify, redistribute, sell, decompile or use them to create a competing product without written permission, except where applicable law expressly allows it.
- Third-party software and media remain subject to their own licenses, listed on the Licenses and credits page.
9. Beta software
- Pre-release versions can contain defects, change without notice or occasionally lose unsynchronized data.
- Do not rely on a beta for emergency, navigation, legal-compliance or irreplaceable record keeping.
- Beta feedback may be used to improve CastShare, without identifying the tester in public materials unless agreed separately.
10. Copyright complaints
Send a clear description of the protected work, the reported CastShare content, your contact details and a good-faith statement to admin@castshare.lv. CastShare may remove or restrict content while a report is reviewed.
